Toll, gestern in Esslingen entdeckt: Im Opus gibt es jeden Mittwoch abend “Mongolian BBQ”, was ich bisher nur aus den USA kannte. Die Zutaten kann man sich selbst an einem Buffet zusammenstellen (Gemüse, Fleisch, Fisch…). Alles wird dann vom Koch direkt vor einem zubereitet. Superfrisch und superlecker - und endlich auch hier in der Nähe! Direkt gegenüber Bahnhof: [ Opus essen und trinken ].

Ab heute ist die private Sektion auf Deutsch. Ganz einfach.

Last Friday, I went to the Pat Metheny concert in the Stuttgart Liederhalle. Unfortunately, I didn’t expect him to perform his “Missouri Sky” only in a duet with Charlie Haden. Pat Metheny again played in an incredible fashion and filled the Beethovensaal with his own famous sound, which was a real joy listening to it. It only was a pity that Charlie Haden played his bass that quiet, that I had the impression it wasn’t amplified in any way. After the concert, I bought the “Pat Metheny Songbook” including a rich amount of his songs known from his past CDs. And the very best of it: I caught him to give me a signature on it!
