The organizers of the annual Melt! Festival published a first list of their committed top acts for this year’s event. Lookin’ excellent, I’d say: Alter Ego, Björk, Booka Shade, Boys Noize, Burger/Voigt, Crookers, Die Türen, Editors, Efdemin, Ellen Allien, Franz Ferdinand, Gui Boratto, Kissy Sell Out, Len Faki, Miss Kittin & The Hacker, Modeselektor, Sascha Funke, Supermayer, The Mitchell Brothers, The Teenagers, Tobias Thomas, Tomas Andersson, Turbostaat, Uffie & Feadz.
Excellent photo taken by shift., thanx!
I really love my coffee machine. But from time to time, that bitch needs a little more attention than I’d like to giver her.
Last weekend, it started rinsing every 2 minutes without me touching any key. What was pretty annoying first, even got worse: The day after, it started rinsing even when pressing the coffee keys!
Before sending the unit to the support team, I wanted to give it a try and see what’s wrong with it. I had it opened 2-3 times already, so there was no big magic with it.
What it came down to was the following: The mechanical part of the brewing unit was half-way blocked by chunks of coffee crumbs. I removed all that and cleaned the whole unit thoroughly. I captured the critical parts for you in my gallery. Fortunately, I didn’t need to disassemble the brewing unit itself (you don’t really wanna do that!).
Now, everything runs nice and smoothly again!
Jürgen Büssert put together a great picture tutorial that can help you opening the Jura S series with a plan: http://www.buessert.de/Technik/Jura-IMPRESSA-S95/Cleaning.htm
Of course, you’ll do that on your own risk ![]()
This weekend, I had the chance to try out these incredible BOSE ® in-ear-headphones. In case you want to use them with an iPhone, don’t forget to check out whether the plug fits into the iPhone jack. Although the BOSE ® web page states compatibility, the ear plugs I tried were slightly too large in diameter. Maybe there are different version on the market?
Be aware that trying these headphones will most likely make you buy them ![]()
Taking the subject of my last post and the date I actually posted it may lead to the impression that Leopard would keep me from blogging! Sure, there are some impressions I’ve made with this new OS, but they are of course not the reason for my absence! Simply put, there are times in life when you’re not as chatty as usual
To get out of the dilemma of making up fake stories, finding the right words for them, having the need to rephrase and finally leaving them in draft status, I made up the following plan: I’m gonna post shorter notes whenever I come across something interesting, how about that? I think this is what blogging started with as a basic idea.
Here’s the first try: Got a comment on one of my weekend’s photos beautifully picturing the Alps. Some guy from www.stream19.com asked me to post that pic to their site which is starting to build up a social network for action sports activities. I like the idea, check out their site!
